Deepak Perwani at Sunsilk Fashion Week 2014

Virtuoso designer Deepak Perwani showcases his collection at the 4-day PFDC Sunsilk Fashion Week 2014 in Lahore from 11th-14th April. Deepak’s veteran talent is a jewel in a string of acclaimed designers, fresh talents, textile houses and high-street brands showing at the event.

Deepak Perwani is an international name whose work has been applauded and raved about not just in the subcontinent but in Malaysia, Miami, Singapore and the fashion hub Milan.

The PFDC Sunsilk Fashion Week 2014 will surely be a special treat for the Lahoris as The House of Deepak shows its ensembles on the ramp in this city after a decade.

Perwani stunned the fashion industry yet again when he made his PFDC Sunsilk Fashion Week debut with ‘Tre’s Chic – Extension’, a Spring/Summer 2014 collection. His collection was inspired by the chic trendy Eastern woman who revels in decking up. Using infused fabric with digital print, studded-beaded embroidery, tie-dye coupled with stretch and crush fabrics, the creations generously made use of striking colours from classic blacks, golds and copper to bright yellows, corals, reds and greens.

The collection will be available for sale at Deepak Perwani’s Lahore flagship outlet from 12th April 2014.

On Day 2 of the PFDC Sunsilk Fashion Week 2014 premium chocolate brand Magnum paid tribute to the 20-years of revolutionary and pioneering contribution of their incomparable Brand Ambassador Deepak Perwani to the Pakistan Fashion scene through the screening of a special documentary.

The PFDC Sunsilk Fashion Week 2014 is the 7th event of the Pakistan Fashion Design Council and is yet another reflection of the council’s commitment to maintain structure and discipline within the fashion business as well as synergize high end design, textile manufacturers and buyers.
