Anyone who has anything to do with the Pakistan Fashion world was part of the Telenor Fashion Pakistan Week Spring/Summer 2015 held in April 2015 in Karachi. The ramp throbbed and shone with the latest prêt wear collections to spectacular show stoppers including Deepak Perwani’s LaDolce Vita Collection.
The collection exuded femininity and class—a customary trend of all DP creations. With vibrant prints, jeweled accents and skillful cutting, the fashion world was enthralled with Deepak’s silk and satin maxi dresses, palazzos, jump suits, flirty skirts, floral jackets and net tops with sequins.
A delightful 70’s vibe ran through the range of his work and there was an obvious contemporary and modern edge to his digitally printed jumpsuits and printed jacket paired with straight pants. The cherry on top was that Deepak Perwani showstoppers were none other than Bollywood actress- turned-producer Pooja Bhatt, Pakistani music icon Ali Azmat and the runway debut of Frieha Altaf’s daughter, Perishe.
The TFPW lived upto its expectation of being hailed as the premier fashion and lifestyle event dedicated to showcasing the contemporary spring / summer collections of Pakistan’s leading designer brands and as always, Deepak’s creativity and unique style left its mark.
